We are extremely proud to be a Domino supplier. One of the products that we helped in the development of is their “User Documentation Pack”. This is a robust DVD case containing a cover insert, a user manual, menu maps and a CD printed and burned.
Prior to this, Domino were printing hard copy manuals, but wanted assistance from their suppliers to source certain aspects of the new format – the case for example. With new products constantly coming to market, existing product guides and manuals were going out of date quickly. We were able to source the exact case they needed and worked with the Domino team to provide a good quality end product.
The User Documentation Pack is distributed with nearly every product sold by Domino, with a different version for each range of products. Each product can contain up to 33 language variants.
There are many clear benefits from this new format. Besides the new format being smaller than the previous manuals, it is considerably less bulky and far more user-friendly. The CD can be used by a number of different operators who can save the information to their computers with the added benefit of being able to choose the version they read with not only English options, but also their mother language.
Orders are emailed to us daily, specifying which product and variant is required, and the delivery date required (which is normally on an agreed 2-3 day turnaround). This enables Domino to maintain a low stock holding, which also keeps waste to a minimum when updating the versions.
There are occasions when delivery is urgent, and we can supply within a matter of hours if necessary, which proves that dealing with local companies can pay dividends!
“We have worked with Victoire Press for many years now and for good reason. They are frequently at the head of our supplier performance chart with reliability, quality and on target deliveries. But, aside from this, it is the extra mile that they frequently go to; from constantly analysing and investigating potential cost savings for us to providing information on different media and specialist knowledge.”
