He began his apprenticeship at Heffers Printers in Cambridge, a shy 16 year old, as a hot metal compositor (don’t worry, he doesn’t expect many people to know what that is or what it involved!) and since then, print has changed dramatically. As a result, David has worked in all areas of pre-press, production, management, account management and in sales for nearly 20 years in and around Cambridgeshire.
David describes himself as an outgoing person who enjoys meeting people; he is very customer focused, honest and a good listener who will offer sound advice and try to build long term relationships with clients. He treats people how he would like to be treated as a customer because he doesn’t like bad service himself and will go the extra mile to achieve things when required.
In his spare time, David enjoys eating out and all sports, although nowadays he can only manage the gym and golf as he is ‘old’ (his words, not ours). Regular sunshine holidays are also a must!
