Staff Q&A :-Adrian Williams

Published on Fri 30 Apr 2010

Adrian has been with Victoire for 4 years in his role as Sales Executive. He has given Victoire the wealth of his twenty one years experience in different fields of print and is a valuable member of staff.
He claims that he has the only dress sense in the office which is hotly disputed by his colleagues, a bit like the ‘Spitting image of Mel Gibson’ Claim!
Although he dreams of being a footballer he concedes that times is not on his side, but still would invite two professional footballers over to dinner for a good chat with fireworks!

How did you get into printing?
I applied for a sales job with a business forms manufacturer back in 1989, the best thing was that I soon met my wife to be, Sara.

What would be your dream job?
Professional footballer, at the age of 43 perhaps my chances are now limited. Maybe I could still get a trial at AC Milan.

Who would play you in a movie about your life?
Mel Gibson, he is apparently a spitting image of me.

Your favourite TV programme is….?
Well I really like Harry Hill’s TV Burp, but then I also like 24….

What song have you most been influenced by?
Hm, difficult one, but anything by Michael Soufle may well influence me to commit murder if I hear it one more time. As a rock fan, I’m more into albums and still rate Def Leppard’s Pyromania from 1983 as the one I’d take to the desert island. Complete and utter mayhem. Oh, and Led Zep IV, Queensryche’s Operation Mindcrime, anything by Rush or the Scorpions pre 1982, Metallica’s Ride the Lightning, Blue Oyster Cult (the ultimate cult band), I’m gonna need a bigger boat…

What would you consider your greatest achievement?
Hopefully still in the pipeline. Beating Tony Elliott at Fantasy Football is something I can only dream of though.

Where would be your dream holiday destination?
Would love to go back to the Maldives.

What’s your greatest fear?
Drowning, unless it was in the Maldives, that would be ok.

Who would be your ideal party guests?
Well, it would have to be John Terry and Wayne Bridge, let’s all enjoy the fireworks.
